The new Multi-IO Expander from XOR adds new Midi Ports for all needed MIDI connectivity: 

• USB Host MIDI-> Connect any Class Compliant MIDI Keyboard, 
• Midi Controller, Launchpad (seamless use of the Launchpad integration) and more... 
• USB Device MIDI -> Connect to a Computer and a new NerdSEQ MIDI Interface with an IN and OUT Port will show up which you can directly use in your DAW. 
• TRS-A MIDI-> Classic MIDI (DIN adapters included) using a TRS-A Input and Output Port. 
• Advanced use, routing and manipulation of the separated MIDI streams is possible within the NerdSEQ. 

It adds 2x I2C Ports to integrate with I2C capable gear

Multi Mode I2C functionality (leader or follower). Implementations for ER301, 16n Faderbox and compatible, distingEX, Just Friends, basic Teletype. More following up. I2C connectors on the backside and one shared with an additional TRS Connection on the front
