Steady State Fate Steady State Gate Stereo Field
TheĀ Steady State Gate Stereo FieldĀ is a true stereo low-pass gate with stereo width control as well as a few additional features. The SSGSF is not just a stereo version of the original, as all aspects of the design have been tuned to new specs.
This version includes a CV/GATE input in addition to the EXCITE control, to accommodate gates, envelopes, etc, to ping the lpg. Both inputs can be used simultaneously to produce more complex, rhythmic excitation patterns.
Stereo processing is achieved via a special mid-side signal chain, designed to provide stereo animation and positioning effects for stereo sources, as well as tone control and psychoacoustic panning effects for mono sources. These effects are manipulated via the FIELD control, NEAR/FAR switch, and associated CV input.
Timbre circuits have been altered, including a new wave folder response. QAOS can now be switched in/out for any of the TIMBRE modes, including when QAOS mode is selected, providing a clean output option.
