Toros Iteritas Alia is the perfect oscillator for lovers of all things drone. Toros’s core is multi-operator phase-modulation synthesis with three different tri- or quad-oscillator algorithms. The unique Blendex controls route each oscillator to the output or to the phase-modulation input of the next oscillator in the algorithm. The Frequency controls can be scaled to span either a minor third, an octave, or two octaves, so ranges can be fine-tuned to match your sonic goals. Dark, noisy, tonal, and sub-shaking timbres are easily created with Toros’s unique and completely CV-controllable interface.
Along with the main output and timbral controls, Toros features an octave-jump gate input and button, perfect for performance or creative sequencer patching. And if you need even more grit for you patch, the Fun output provides a buzzy saw at the fundamental frequency of the oscillator core.
