It silently listens for any electromagnetic fields and displays the detected frequency. That means you can also check if your microwave, coffee grinder, and power drill are in tune tooā¦
This is a special electromagnetic tuner to accompany the Chromaplane.
When placed over the instrument, the tuner will silently listen for electromagnetic fields emitted from the Chromaplaneās surface and display information about the detected note.
The turnerās LED display shows the cents off, closest chromatic note, and current octave.
Using the turner, you can silently tune the Chromaplane without having to listen to the instrument or pass its signal through additional gear.
The tuner runs off a single coin cell battery (CR2032), which comes included.
The tuner is also designed to interface well with its accompanying website that can beĀ found here. On the website, you can browse through a library of tunings for the instrument.
