With the advent of MIDI, expression pedals have become a powerful means of controlling creative output when one's hands are otherwise occupied. They are simple and effective way to achieve extended control, and are both ergonomic and responsive. Having one's feet controlling different parameters not only liberates the hands, but allows a new dimension of shaping creative outcomes.
Over the years, ADDAC System has unveiled several Eurorack modules making use of expression pedals, but now the company introduces a standalone plug nāplay MIDI controller specifically designed for TRS-based. It allows no less than 8 expression pedals to be connected simultaneously, and outputs Control Change messages via either USB-C MIDI, Bluetooth MIDI or standard DIN5 3.5mm jack. As such, it can connect to any synth, computer, tablet or phone making it an enormously flexible creative tool.
